Sundvold Financial was founded with the client at the center of our service model. In our roles as Registered Investment Advisor or Benefits Agency, Implementation Strategist or Plan Fiduciary, our service standard is the client’s best interest. We embrace the responsibility and the accountability of executing on our mission in every circumstance. For more than a quarter century, our clients from all industries, backgrounds and experience levels have trusted Sundvold Financial with their business as well as the business and accounts of their colleagues, family and own customers.

Our Clients

Our clients include corporations, healthcare systems, public school municipalities, and high-net-worth individuals. Our Employee Benefits and Corporate Retirement Plans clients range from small businesses to large companies with over 500 employees. Our Financial Planners deal primarily with clients whose investable assets are greater than $100,000. Across each department, the clients we serve should expect an elevated level of expertise when working with Sundvold Financial. Our goal is to be the premier RIA and Benefits Agency for companies and individuals who expect high-level service.

  • Jon Sundvold, AIF®️

    Founder & CEO

    Jon provides the strategic direction and mission for the firm he founded in 1997 in addition to supporting the firm’s growth initiatives. He is actively engaged with all facets of the firm’s client centered lines of business.

  • Bryan England, AIF®️

    Chief Operating Officer

    Bryan leads the firm’s retirement plan education team as well as its investment due diligence processes. Furthermore, he manages a group of the firm’s retirement plan clients, several of whom have been with the firm since Bryan’s first day in 1999.

  • Greg Holloway

    Implementation Strategist

    Over more than 15 years at Sundvold Financial, Greg has established an advisory practice focused on accountability and outcomes for clients. As a fee-only advisor Greg is focused on the client’s well-being, not his own. Greg utilizes the Values Based Financial Planning matrix in leading clients towards their goals. It all starts with a very simple question, “What is important about money to you?”

    Implementation Strategist

    As an advisor Josh has worked for large firms and run his own shop. His passion for helping people led him to the Values Based Financial Planning model which he implements for clients at Sundvold Financial as a fee-only advisor. At the firm, Josh’s passion has resulted in a client portfolio of people striving for goals associated with what is important to them about money.

  • Kevin Bartolacci, AIF®️, ChFC, CLU, CMFC

    Director of Research and Education

    Kevin is integral to the firm’s research, education and due diligence processes. He is a frequent educator of retirement plan participants meeting people wherever they are from break rooms to Zoom meetings and executive offices. Kevin also manages individual client portfolios for the firm.

    Well versed and experienced in the landscape of group medical benefits, Tom offers unique perspective to clients as a result of his past professional success representing an insurance carrier. As a consultant to Sundvold Financial and its clients, Tom brings value in ways many others cannot offer.

    For employee groups of 2 or 600, Kelly is the central point of contact, information and answers for the firm’s commerical group benefits clients. More than 15 years experience benefit Kelly and those with whom she interacts on a daily basis from employers across the Midwest.

  • Jamie Cunningham

    Claims Specialist

    For many employees and employers, the claims process is the defining event of their insurance experience. Jamie leads the firm’s claims response initiatives with personal attention and service to our corporate, public entity and school district clients.

  • Wilson Sundvold, AIF®, MBA

    Investment Advisor

    Wilson is at the center of the the firm’s pledge to always be looking out for plan participants and employers. Whether meeting with participants on site or acting as a daily point of contact for plan sponsors and employers, Wilson has the participant in mind.

  • Taylor Dillard

    Implementation Manager

    Accountability and execution are the hallmarks of personal financial planning done at Sundvold Financial. Taylor is the engine that makes that process successful. She maintains communication and meeting preparation for each client as well as coordinates documentation.

  • Emily Stepanek

    Associate Benefits Manager

    Emily provides participant support for benefits clients as well as administrative and logistical support to the account executive team. She is a contributor to the firm's carrier relations and a central point of contact for day-to-day operations.
